Weekly Weigh-In (A Day Late)
Another Disappointing Week
Ugh… another disappointing week. Oops. I guess I am the queen of two steps forward and two steps back. I spent this week celebrating my promotion at work. Apparently, I celebrated a little TOO much. *sigh* Oh well, today is a new day and a chance to start fresh. (Didn’t I say that last week, too?) I think I too often use food in an emotional way. Bad day at work? Have a slice of cake. Celebrating a new job? Have a slice of cake! I try to remind myself not to be too hard on myself because it has been difficult for me to lose weight while maintaining my milk supply. I guess I just have to keep trying.
Sorry this week’s post is late. My usual Saturday morning routine was interrupted by a very exciting shopping trip with my oldest and dearest friend! She just found out she is having a baby boy, so we headed to town for a day of baby clothes shopping. I was celebrating my promotion, too, so we had a lot to be thankful for this week! It blows my mind because it was just barely a year ago that she and I went on a similar shopping trip, celebrating baby Chase!! It’s amazing how much can change in a year. This time last year she was fretting that they may never get to have another baby and now, here she is!!! Yay!!! Anyway, enough about my life. Here’s this week’s disappointing numbers. 😉

This Week’s Weight – 169.2
Difference – +0.04 lbs
I guess it could be worse, all things considered. I have got to get my tail in gear and get back at it.

P.P.S. – While I am taking a break from meal prep this week, I have started planning my meal prep book! I am so excited! I have written my outline and my plan is to start my chapter outlines today. 🙂
